Reality

Who said jezzzaa kyle wasn't inspirational, i know its total trash TV but im addicted, Heres a few pieces i created for a project, i was recently challenged what my style in work is , what gets me 'going' what i really enjoy doing, and this is it made a change for me to spend time working on a computer than just doing hands on work.
I really hope you enjoy these images i have more but these are the selected few.

PoundCycle

Poundcycle.... the mission , to create an A4 pullout that folded out into an A2 poster, the poster must display information , to help people save money in this economic climate, I designed the layout, illustrations , typography , colour scheme, content, logo and the name 'poundcycle', printed out onto blotting paper to save costings however it dulls the colors down, and Sorry about the poor photo quality!!!

The Feckless

Third post it one day watch me go ......... Graphite fun, now i am going back to old times i even remember the beautiful mess graphite makes when you add water to it. Just ideas for new types to use and getting away from the computer, that's where you get the best outcomes anyways.

If you dont like Photocopying get out my house.

Seeing as recently Ive been focusing on the basics , I thought to my self why the hell not , why don't I just photocopy my printing letters , that's what i did , I didn't Aline the type as i wanted a free hand feel , I really like these outcomes works better than I expected. However the rain hates me i left my roof window open , stupidly and my work underneath , maybe i shouldn't blame the rain but my stupidity but anyways these are the ones that weren't damaged.

Weak end

Weakend, i used similar aspects as my collage work, The main theme in this piece is bindge drinking at weekends , this is seen as a popular thing within the "lower class" Rather seeing bindge drinking as something lower class people do to rebel against the nation, i took it as ,there weakness , its something they do in reaction to depression or suppression from the higher class.

Childs Play

Ink pad + child foam letters = inky fun

Date stamp crazy, i knew my pound shop date stamp would come in handy, This is a natural print just testing my font letters, i did slight editing on photoshop but not much. Traditional Red and black , i was limited on ink stamps but i am going to experiment with different colors .

I did have another image to upload but technical issues , bad times !!

100 people a year choke to death on ball-point pens.

This project, i created a health and safety poster for the fact of "100 people a year choke to death on ball-point pens." My target audience was 18-25 year old's so i tyred to show this within my poster, The final outcome was an A2 poster.personaly i think it printed out beautifully, the outcome was much better printed than on screen, but i love it when that happens!!

Also its not easy to make out from the image on here, but if you look closely its ball-point pens coming out her mouth, if you cant see that you miss the whole point of the image out!!

Typo Grids

This project actual wasn't anything to do with typography as of such but more about the Grids designers use to create their typography grid, instead i designed a 3d grid and mae the grid the peice of design it's self.
(photo above)
Andy joining in on my project, he was forced i must say.
This Was when i was experimenting with where my grid is going, believe me i tried many places but was good to be out in the fresh air.
i did begin to dislike this grid the amount of times i lugged it around with me but this was not why i burnt it don't worry!! i just wanted to document the process of it burning, This process did not come out as good as i expected but i did get a few good snaps.
After the Destruction, i even took it home with me after this again, i don't think i could part with it.
I also experimented with hanging type and symbols within my grid and burning, of course I'm me and the classic arrows had to be done.
